What happens if I need to cancel?

I understand that sometimes plans need to change. If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please give me at least 24 hours’ notice.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at 50% of the session fee. If a session is missed without notice or communication, the full session fee is payable.

Is counselling confidential?

Yes. What you share in counselling is confidential, within the usual ethical and legal limits to confidentiality. I’ll explain these clearly when we begin working together, so you understand the circumstances in which I might need to share information with someone else.

We can also talk about confidentiality at any point if you have questions or concerns.

Do you work with young people?

Yes. I work with young people aged 13–17, both face-to-face and online where appropriate.

When working with a young person, I’ll explain confidentiality and its limits in a way that is clear to them, as well as discussing the practical arrangements and relevant consent with a parent or carer where needed.
